KFin Technologies will remain in focus on Thursday on market buzz that private equity firm General Atlantic is likely to pare its stake in the financial services firm by approximately 6 per cent of the company’s total outstanding shares through block deals. The sale is expected to be executed at a discount ranging between 5 per cent and 8 per cent of Wednesday’s closing price, according to multiple people familiar with the development, it said.

Nexus Select Trust on Wednesday said it has completed the acquisition of a commercial complex comprising a shopping mall and a hotel in Ludhiana for an enterprise value of ₹531 crore. In a regulatory filing, the company said it has completed the acquisition of the MBD Complex in Ludhiana. This high-quality, Grade-A urban consumption centre spans about 0.3 million (3 lakh) square feet and includes a 96-key Radisson Hotel. The transaction was executed at a total enterprise value of ₹531 crore, which includes a purchase consideration of ₹490 crore, associated stamp duty of ₹10 crore, closing costs and a provision for planned capital expenditure covering hotel renovations, mall upgrades, etc. The MBD Mall has an occupancy rate of about 95 per cent.

Standard Capital Markets has raised ₹100 crore through the allotment of 10000 unrated, unlisted, secured Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Series II of face value of ₹1,00,000 each at an issue price of ₹1,00,000 each on Private Placement basis. The Board of Directors by circulation held on May 7, 2025, has inter-alia, considered and approved allotment of the same. 

Marine Electricals (India) has received an order amounting to ₹7.30 crore (excluding taxes) from DC Development Noida for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of power distribution system. The order shall be executed within five months.

Star Delta Transformers has been awarded orders for a total contract value of ₹61.98 crore from Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company. The orders are for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new 11 KV Lines, LT Line on AB Cable, Distribution Transformers substation and supporting works such as DPs, TPs, crossing, etc. for separation of 11 KV mix feeders and mix DTRs under a revamped reforms based and results linked distribution sector scheme (RDSS) Feeder Separation (FSP) KfW package IV Lot-I (betul) of MPMKVVCL, Bhopal.

Absolute Sports, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and the parent company of Sportskeeda.com, has signed definitive agreements, subject to closing conditions, to acquire two IPs, TJRWrestling.net and ITRWrestling.com. These business assets will be acquired from Titan Insider Digital. These IPs add to the already dominant global position of Absolute Sports in the combat sports publishing industry. The transaction, valued at $1.25 million (₹10.5 crore), will be an all-cash asset purchase via the company’s US subsidiary, Sportskeeda Inc., and is expected to close within the next 45 days. This strategic acquisition bolsters Sportskeeda’s position in the combat sports segment and expands its presence in the US, home to the world’s largest pro-wrestling fanbase. The integration of these platforms will also create deeper engagement opportunities for fans and advertisers across digital formats.

Lupin has launched eslicarbazepine acetate tablets in the US. The product, available in 200 mg, 400 mg, 600 mg, and 800 mg strengths, is the generic equivalent of Sumitomo Pharma America’s Aptiom and is indicated for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients aged four years and above.
