Top gainers & losers intraday March 13, 2025: BEL lead gains, realty, IT & auto stocks face selling pressure

Shares of BEL, SBI, ICICI Bank, ONGC and Larsen & Turbo traded among top gainers of Nifty 50. Among the laggards were Shriram Finance, Hindalco, Wipro, HDFC Life and Tata Motors.

After opening marginally higher, indices traded flat as at 12.38 pm erasing early gains. Sensex traded at 74,027.97 and Nifty 50 was at 22,446.25.

Top gainers, losers today

Shares of Bharat Electronics lead the gainers on securing new work order from Indian Air Force for ₹2,463 Crore. It gained 2.22 per cent to trade at ₹282.97.

Two banking majors SBI and ICICI followed with modest gains of 0.92 per cent and 0.80 per cent to ₹729.7 and ₹1,253.95, respectively.

ONGC shares inched up 0.70 per cent to ₹225.96 and L&T traded at ₹3,215.05 on receipt of large work order.

On the flip side were Shriram Finance shares, falling 2.84 per cent to ₹618.85. Hindalco shares fell 1.90 per cent to ₹676.75 and IT major Wipro dropped 1.38 per cent to ₹264.85.

HDFC Life declined 1.34 per cent to ₹623.55 and Tata Motors dipped 1.32 per cent to ₹659.5.

Aarti Drugs, Angel One, Atul Auto, Hatsun, IDFC First Bank and Mahindra Lifespace were among the 171 stocks that hit a 52-week low on the National Stock Exchange today.

Among the Sensex pack, MTNL rallied 13 per cent to ₹49.07. Data Patterns, MRPL, SEPC and DMart followed with over 5 per cent gains. Meanwhile, shares of PB Fintech, KEC, Gensol and Bharat Forge declined.
