Chennai, Mar 7 (KNN) Tamil Nadu is set to make a significant impact on the global aerospace and defence manufacturing sector by hosting Aerospace and Defence Meetings (ADM) Chennai at the Chennai Trade Centre from October 7 to 9.
This international event aims to position the state as a leading hub for aerospace and defence industries.
Currently, India’s participation in global aerospace and defence events is largely limited to Aero India (Bengaluru), Wings India (Hyderabad), Aeromart (Hyderabad), and Defence Expo.
ADM Chennai will be the country’s first dedicated international event focused exclusively on aerospace, defence, space, and naval sectors.
Industries Minister T.R.B. Rajaa announced that the event is being organised in collaboration with BCI Aerospace, a global leader in aerospace and defence business events.
BCI Aerospace has successfully hosted international gatherings in Seattle, Nagoya, Montreal, Rzeszów, Torino, and Casablanca.
The event is expected to attract over 300 companies from 25+ countries, facilitating more than 8,000 pre-arranged business-to-business meetings.
Rajaa highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Tamil Nadu is fast emerging as India’s top destination for aerospace and defence manufacturing.
With one of India’s two Defence Industrial Corridors, Tamil Nadu is actively drawing investments, enhancing industry capabilities, and creating high-end job opportunities.
ADM Chennai is expected to further strengthen the state’s position as a key player in the global aerospace and defence supply chain.
This initiative marks a major milestone in Tamil Nadu’s ambition to become a leading force in aerospace and defence manufacturing on the global stage.
