RBL Bank appoints new COO, head of branch banking

Private sector lender RBL Bank has appointed Narendra Agrawal as president and head of branch banking and retail liabilities, and T S Pari as the COO of the bank, according to a statement.

Agrawal was earlier associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank as president & national branch banking head, while Pari was the group president-head of retail assets at YES Bank. Agrawal will focus on deposit growth, enhancing customer experience through an omnichannel strategy, and strengthening the business’s contribution to the bank’s long-term plan, RBL Bank said.

Pari, meanwhile, will be responsible for driving efficiencies, customer centricity and strengthen risk management practices in the core business operations. He will report to Alok Rastogi, Head of Corporate Centre.

“These appointments reinforce our commitment to attracting top quality industry talent and building a strong leadership pipeline. Narendra and Pari bring extensive expertise in driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer-centric transformation. Their leadership will be instrumental in further strengthening our retail banking franchise and accelerating our execution in strategic priority areas,” RBL Bank MD, CEO R Subramaniakumar said.
