At a meeting on 10 June 2025, the 126 WTO members participating in the Investment Facilitation for Development (IFD) Agreement emphasized the importance of intensifying outreach efforts aimed at expanding membership and raising awareness of the Agreement and its wide-ranging development benefits — including through strengthened institutions and enhanced capacity-building support for developing and least-developed members.
