Panama formally accepts WTO Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies

On 12 June, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala received Panama’s instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies from Panama’s Minister of Trade and Industry Julio Moltó. Just nine more acceptances are needed for the Agreement to enter into force.
