Noida, Jun 9 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans to construct a multi-storey industrial facility in Greater Noida with an investment of Rs 125 crore, designed to support the state’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector.

The initiative aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s comprehensive approach to industrial growth, which emphasises the promotion of MSMEs alongside heavy industries to establish the state as a prominent manufacturing hub.

The proposed facility will operate as a flatted factory, a multi-storey industrial building designed to accommodate multiple manufacturing units within a single integrated structure.

Each unit within the facility will function independently while sharing common infrastructure, enabling manufacturers to conduct production, assembly and storage operations efficiently.

This model proves particularly advantageous for MSMEs by providing ready-to-use industrial spaces in regions where land availability presents constraints.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has developed the project specifications for the facility, which will be situated in Sector 28, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

The complex will encompass more than 38,665 square metres and will feature comprehensive infrastructure including power supply systems, water facilities, elevators, heating and cooling systems, and fire safety installations to ensure optimal operational conditions within a compact architectural footprint.

According to official statements, preparatory activities including master planning and documentation processes are currently underway, with construction scheduled for completion within a two-year timeframe.

The facility is expected to generate significant economic benefits through increased investment flows, enhanced regional economic activity and employment opportunities, particularly targeting youth employment in the manufacturing sector.
