Boubyan Bank, a leading Kuwaiti Islamic bank, has successfully completed the second phase implementation of Intellect Design Arena’s eMACH.ai Digital Transaction Banking (DTB) solution, the companies announced today. The new platform aims to enhance the bank’s transaction banking capabilities across multiple sectors, including oil and gas, telecom, fintech, real estate, and trading services.

The shares of Intellect Design Arena Limited were trading at ₹676.45 down by ₹25.30 or 3.61 per cent on the NSE today at 12.25 pm.

The implementation introduces automated cash position control, streamlined receivables management, and digital payment solutions. A key feature is the EPay system, which enables faster receivables through QR code-based payment links. The platform also offers Host-to-Host connectivity for corporate clients’ ERP integration.

Abdul-Salam Mohammed Al-Saleh, Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Banking at Boubyan Bank, emphasised that digitisation aligns with Islamic banking principles while modernising their transaction banking services. The bank views this as part of its five-year strategy, focusing on digital infrastructure and customer excellence.

Intellect Design Arena, which now serves three major banks in Kuwait, provides financial technology solutions across 57 countries. The company’s eMACH.ai platform features 386 microservices and over 2015 APIs, according to the announcement. This implementation strengthens Boubyan Bank’s position in Kuwait’s corporate banking sector and expands its digital service offerings for corporate and SME clients.
