DPIIT-Kyndryl MoU To Strengthen India’s Startup Landscape With AI & Digital Solutions

New Delhi, Mar 21 (KNN) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, and Kyndryl Solutions Pvt Ltd have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at accelerating innovation and expanding India’s startup ecosystem. 

The collaboration will primarily support startups in the manufacturing and IT sectors by utilising Kyndryl’s expertise in digital transformation and Generative AI solutions.

Joint Secretary of DPIIT, Shri Sanjiv, emphasised that this partnership represents a significant advancement in fostering an innovation-driven startup environment in India. 

By harnessing Kyndryl’s global expertise and enterprise solutions, DPIIT intends to assist startups in scaling their operations and driving technological advancements across various industries.

The partnership will empower startups through comprehensive support including mentorship, infrastructure resources, and market access. 

This will enable them to integrate their solutions into enterprise ecosystems across diverse sectors such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, banking and financial services, oil and gas, and government services. 

Kyndryl plans to establish dedicated programs specifically designed to support digital product startups, AI-driven innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Kyndryl will facilitate startup growth through multiple channels, including integrating innovations into enterprise solutions and connecting startups with large-scale business customers. 

Startups will benefit from expert mentorship in areas such as product development, market readiness, cybersecurity resilience, and enterprise deployment. 

Additionally, Kyndryl will conduct advisory sessions and industry workshops focused on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. 

Through collaboration with Startup India and DPIIT, Kyndryl will provide knowledge sharing, policy insights, and access to government incentives. 

Startups will also receive guidance on scaling their solutions internationally and exploring new markets.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, Director of DPIIT, and a representative from Kyndryl, with senior officials from both organisations present at the ceremony.

This strategic partnership aligns with the government’s vision of establishing India as a global innovation hub. 

By combining DPIIT’s startup support framework with Kyndryl’s enterprise capabilities, the collaboration aims to create a structured ecosystem where startups can thrive, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
