AYUSH Ministry Hosts Industry Session To Boost MSME Opportunities In Ayush Sector

New Delhi, July 17 (KNN) The Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL), with the support of the Ministry of AYUSH and Rastriya Ayurved Vidyapeeth, organised an industry interactive session on Wednesday titled “Fostering Growth: SME Schemes and Opportunities for the Ayush Industry”, the Ministry of AYUSH said in a release.

The event brought together key stakeholders and government representatives to discuss strategies for strengthening the Ayush sector through Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). 

Dr. Kousthubha Upadhyaya, Adviser, Ministry of AYUSH, opened the session by underscoring the critical role MSMEs play in expanding the Ayush ecosystem. 

A detailed presentation by Anuja Bapat, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, followed, outlining various government schemes designed to support Ayush-oriented enterprises.

In their respective addresses, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, and S.C.L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, emphasised the need to improve product quality and scale operations to meet both domestic and global demand.

The session reflected a shared commitment across ministries to drive sustainable growth, innovation, and global competitiveness within the traditional medicine sector.
