Auro Infra gets Coal Ministry award

Auro Infra Pvt Ltd received an award of appreciation in the ‘Early Operationalisation’ category by the Union Ministry of Coal. The award was presented during a special function held in New Delhi recently.

The company received the award for commencing operations at Takli Jena Belora—North & South in a record two years. The mine currently operates at a peak-rated capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per year.

Sanjay Vinod Mishra, who heads Auro Infra Pvt Ltd’s mining vertical, received the award from Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy.

“Auro Infra currently holds four coal blocks across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Telangana, along with three rock phosphate blocks in Madhya Pradesh. Among these, the Takli Jena Belora – North & South coal mine, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, is fully operational and produces coal, while the remaining blocks are at various stages of approval,” a company statement said here on Saturday.
