New Delhi, Mar 13 (KNN) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (ELC) have formalised a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at catalysing innovation and entrepreneurship within India’s expanding beauty and personal care sector.

The collaboration seeks to bolster the country’s start-up ecosystem while providing emerging beauty brands with crucial resources and developmental support.

This initiative will integrate Start-up India’s national platform with ELC’s established entrepreneurial program, BEAUTY&YOU India, creating a comprehensive support structure for beauty innovators.

Participating start-ups will benefit from funding opportunities, expert mentorship, industry-specific insights, and access to ELC’s extensive global network of beauty professionals.

As part of the announcement, ELC revealed an expansion of the BEAUTY&YOU India program to include a specialised category dedicated to supporting women-founded start-ups in the beauty space.

This addition aligns with the company’s broader commitment to advancing female leadership within the beauty industry.
