Union Bank of India holds outreach camp for MSMEs at Hoskote

Union Bank of India held an outreach camp for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Hoskote on Monday.

The Mega MSME Outreach Campaign was aimed to promote entrepreneurship, government schemes, and provide support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, fostering economic growth in the region. Various branches catering to MSME segment under Bengaluru Region participated along with MSME customers in the event.

During the Mega MSME Outreach Camp, the Bank sanctioned collateral free based loans (Union MSE Support), MSME loans to women entrepreneurs/beneficiaries (Union Nari Shakti), and SHGs along with other government sponsored schemes such as PMMY, PM Vishwakarma, PMJDY, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and retail CASA (Current Account and Savings Account deposits) were also opened in the campaign.

Sanction letters were distributed among the beneficiaries for a total number of 351 accounts amounting to ₹476.00 crore.

Managing Director & CEO of Union Bank of India A Manimekhalai inaugurated the Mega MSME Outreach Camp. Nitesh K Patil IAS, Director, MSME, and Dr K Socrates, Joint Director, MSME, Department of Industries and Commerce, Govt of India, were the guests of honour.
