Members highlight progress in sustainability discussions, discuss MC14 objectives

WTO members participating in the Trade and Environmental Sustainability Structured Discussions (TESSD) met on 18 July to review progress across four key sustainability themes: trade-related climate measures, trade in environmental goods and services, circular economy, and subsidies. They also discussed an outline for a TESSD publication for the 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14), scheduled for March 2026 in Yaoundé, aimed at providing insights into how trade policies can best support members’ environmental sustainability objectives.
