WTO Chairs Programme activities launched at Dominican Republic university

On 13 May 2025, Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic launched its activities under the WTO Chairs Programme. The university was recently added to the Programme — along with four other institutions — to expand the network in under-represented regions. The team at the university is led by Professor Dayanna Polanco, a specialist in business management and value chains, and Professor Antonio Giraldi, an economist with a background in financial modelling, market analysis and monetary policy research.
