BSE posts record financial results, declares ₹23 dividend

BSE Ltd announced its highest-ever financial performance with revenues of ₹3,236 crore for the fiscal year 2025, a 103 per cent increase compared to the previous year. The company declared a total dividend of ₹23 per equity share, including a special dividend of ₹5 and a normal dividend of ₹18.

The stock exchange reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,326 crore for the year ended March 31, 2025, with net profit margin expanding to 41 per cent from 25 per cent in the previous year. Consolidated operating EBITDA including Core SGF surged 291 per cent to ₹1,499 crore, with EBITDA margin widening to 51 per cent from 28 per cent.

BSE’s equity derivatives segment traded 30.5 billion contracts during FY25, generating revenue of ₹1,415 crore. The exchange’s StAR MF platform continued its strong performance, processing 66.3 crore transactions during the fiscal year, up 61 per cent from 41.1 crore last year, maintaining its 89 per cent market share.

In the primary markets, BSE platforms remained the preferred choice for Indian companies, enabling issuers to raise ₹25.59 lakh crore through various instruments. The exchange welcomed 81 new listings in 2025, raising a record ₹1.82 lakh crore, a 194 per cent increase from the previous year.

As part of its strategic vision, BSE signed an agreement to sell its 100 per cent stake in BSE Institute to FinX for ₹16.9 crore, focusing on core operations.
